I knew The Kooples(French for The Couples) from my flatmate Celia few months ago. At that time she was working at Selfridges and she told me that they are one the best brands in terms of turnover in Selfridges’ contemporary department since they launched. Magic power marketing!

My previous post Karina & Tom reminded me of their ad campaigns. Each season they feature serval attractive couples. With their new season clothes on, each couple have an ad image and a video which simply telling their love story (in their offical  website), where they first met,when they first kissed, how long they have been together, etc. It’s so close to real life, which gives me a thought that clothing is not just about pattern cutting, latest trends, pricing, it can be worn as a feeling, an attitude of love life, a link of an relationship… I think this is the reason why The Kooples is being so popular.
